Sarasota Auto Repair

This was my first visit to Kaufman Auto and only scheduled an oil change. I was recommended by my neighbor. I was very early to my appointment and was told not a problem, we'll take care of it. After about an hour, Roger (manager-owner?) came to me to discuss what was found. Overall everything looked good. Two issues, the right wiper blade was not performing properly and the rear tires are worn and should be replaced. This matched my expectations. Roger suggested replacement tires and gave me a quote which seemed fair.. Bottom line: I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism and courtesy.

On the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, I discovered a nail in my tire. I was not sure I had enough air in the tire to make it to Kaufman's - about 5 miles away. I went to a repair shop about 2 blocks away, but learned they did not do tire repair. I asked if they knew of a place that was close....Tire Kingdom on Beneva was the answer......about 5 blocks away. There, I learned that I could not get service until Friday after Thanksgiving. "Tire will be good and flat by that time," I said. But.....they did put enough air in my tire to get me to Kaufman's where the tire was fixed. It took about 10 minutes....so I fail to understand how I could not be squeezed in at Tire Kingdom. With this off my mind, I was able to have a great Thanksgiving with my wife, 2 daughters, 3 grandchildren, and 2 dogs and 1 rabbit. Thank you Kaufman's.......Rene Corcoran

Fast and responsive service - called up about a brake light that needed replacing and they had me come in that afternoon and did the job in 30 minutes. Cant beat that!

Spotless facility, absolutely amazing customer service and very knowledgeable, genuine, and friendly staff. They were quick to find the problem with my car and quick to find a solution; they also kept me informed on what was happening through the whole repair process. They even took the time to show me my engine and explain to me what was going on and how they planned to fix it, answering all my questions along the way. I saw them go above and beyond for me and for many others today, and I would go out of my way to take my car back here. Thank you, Kaufman’s!

Selected Kaufman based only on internet reviews. I found them to be nice people and honest. Did all our negotiations by email and they responded very promptly. Asked them to clean the engine in my 2007 car and it looks like new. Pleasant folks to work with.

Very kind and helpful worked with me on any problems i had for instance i was in the hospital and couldnt pick up vehicle not only was it ok but they held it longer till i was well enough to come without any extra charges 😁
