Kaufman’s Auto Repair I obtained excellent service the week of December 10, 2019 after an unplanned roadside problem. Driving from the northeast I got caught in a snow & ice storm- my driver side window froze and became inoperative and slightly dropped. I had to tape my window to prevent it from completely dropping into the door. I managed to drive to Sarasota, my next stop. In Sarasota, I googled Saab repairs. Kaufman is listed for Saab & other foreign cars and cite a near a 5 star rating. Roger Kaufman the owner immediately examined my car’s door, ( no waiting) and found the problem. Repair estimate was reasonable. He Ordered the new part, installed it the next morning. Roger is organized and on top of things and straight as an arrow. Service was outstanding. My experience: this is the place is you have a Saab. Roger treated me like a neighborhood friend. Did everything he could to get me on my way as soon as possible. I found all this pleasantly remarkable. This was probably the best roadside service I have ever experienced. Kaufman’s is about 45 mins from my home but I will unhesitatingly return if other services are needed. Thanks Roger!
