We recently dropped off the convertible for a scheduled oil change, lube, & tire rotation. I asked Roger to check to see if there were any manufacturer's recommendations for other maintenance items for 30 or 35 thousand miles. All the work was performed, plus Roger advised there was nothing based on the manufactures check list that needed attention. We've been going to Kaufman's for the past 3-4 years ever since I had a not so good experience with a couple of dealership's service departments. We're treated like family; they provide value-added customer service. He and the rest of his team do quality work at a very fair price.

Good experience with Kaufman Auto. Efficient and professional. Since I waited at the shop for the diagnosis and repair, it was helpful to have the vehicle taken in promptly at the appointment time and I was quickly back on the road.

Cleanest shop I ever saw. They gave a complete diagnosis and started where I asked them to.

I called Roger and explained that I had changed out the seats on my 07 C70 Volvo without disconnecting the battery and now my SRS light was on. He had me bring it down to the shop and in less then 3min. He was able to clear the codes. The dealer would have charged 150.00 Roger charged 1/3 and I was grateful. The shop is clean and the folks are nice, I believe I'll use them again.

I hate to leave a bad review but the reason I came in was because of all the 5 star reviews. I feel the owner was trying to do more work on my car then was actually needed. Maybe its because i look like I'm a young girl but I'm actually 28 and I've owned and taken care of my own car for over ten years... anyway, I was in because there was a sound happening in my tire. I didn't think it was the breaks but it was. My caliber was getting stuck, they found that, along with many other problems they recommended I get fixed. I appreciated the thorough check but, what I did not appreciate was the $1500 estimate I was given, $990 of it was for the brakes. The owner told me I needed new hoses, pads, rotors and callibers... I asked why would I need new rotors? Are the pads gone? he told me the heat warps the rotors. I politely told him I was not going to get my car fixed with him and he told me that it's a safety issue so I really needed it to be done. I agree I needed work done but not with him. So I brought it to Randy's brake shop on 17th street where he showed me my rotor was not warped and i also did not need new hoses. If the hose was clogged, then the pressure would have been released when opening the caliber.... so moral of the story... If you prioritize fancy seating areas and free snacks and being greeted at the door then come to Kaufman but if you prioritize your wallet and only paying for what you need done do not come here. If you need brakes I highly reccomened Randy's brake shop on 17th. By the way the mechanic and the woman at the desk were very nice... even the owner was nice but, He was either not honest or he doesnt know hes doing. I don't like to assume the worst in people.. and even though it took an hour and half to get an estimate... I walked out laughing at the hilarity of the proposed bill.
